COMPLETE AGRICULTURAL & INDUSTRIAL SOLUTIONS
At S P Electrical Stroud Ltd, we proudly work with a wide range of industrial and agricultural premises, including Forestry England. We handle electrical work for barns, farm workshops, grain dryers, factories, milking parlours, ménages, and stable blocks. From wiring additional sockets and lighting to heavy 3-phase power for machines and welders, our team ensures durable, efficient installations that keep operations running safely and reliably across the Cotswolds and Gloucestershire.
FAULT FINDING, TESTING & SAFETY
Our experienced engineers, some with over 50 years in the trade, are specialists in electrical fault finding for lighting, motors, farm equipment, and conveyors. We understand that downtime impacts productivity, so we respond quickly to restore systems with minimal disruption. Every test and inspection we perform meets the highest NICEIC standards for industrial safety. We also offer detailed inspection and certification to ensure compliance and peace of mind.

LIGHTING, ENERGY & POWER DISTRIBUTION
We design and install efficient lighting systems for agricultural and industrial use, from single outside lights to complete factory or farm fit-outs. Our work includes energy-saving LED lighting, PLC control systems, and full power and distribution installations. Whether it’s upgrading a circuit, adding a new distribution board, or fitting a complete panel system, we provide tailored, cost-effective solutions that improve performance and lower running costs for your business.
We have used SP Electrical over the past 6 years to do all our electrics around the farm.
This included the installation of a new mains supply after a fire on farm about 3 years ago which was a considerable task. Since then we have had the Farmhouse completely rewired too and they have continued necessary electrical works round the farm ever since.
Electricians attending have always been courteous – aware of working around the needs of the working farm and trying to cause minimum disruption when working in the house. We have been confident that they have done a good job and are on hand when we really need them. They also leave things tidy when they finish.
We would recommend them.
